Windows Vista users..

Does this rule? I've heard yes and no. I'm thinking about buying this but am still a little skeptical. How does it compare to XP? I've read a lot but want some opionions from my fellow ws.comers.

Its still kinda buggy from what I hear.

Stick with Windows 2000 if you want a super stable operating system

I have vista but it is only the basic( Im not very computer savvy). It hasnt given me any problems

fastgreens, No worries. I would love a mac though, but I have other priorities, 08 Integ pro model, Devotid Onward, etc..

I'll probably just stick with XP from what I'm reading besides Russians comment. Maybe I'll download it or maybe I'll smoke and forget to.

yea i downloaded it then got virtual pc and just run xp through that so if it ever gets hosed up then i just make new account. i love it. (not vista,virtual pc)

to run vista properly you need atleast 2gb of RAM for it to function smoothly.

Vista is the new Windows ME.

XP has been rock solid for me. Haven't seen any problems on my bro's Vista lappy and he definitely likes it over XP, but I'm still not convinced it's worth the upgrade. I would personally wait it out until 2010 when MS releases Windows 7. But that's just me.
