so its time for new board shopping. i havent been able to ride as many of the new boards out lately cause ive been so damn busy with school. so any opinions are much appreciated.

im a chick thats about 5'5 and have always favored 39.5 and 40s. unfortunately, i havent ridden any of the bi-levels and was considering going in that directon but wanted a few opinions on how they ride. ive always loooved integritys and am considering just waiting for the 08's.. but i think it's time for a heavier board since i was able to pop stuff a hell of a lot more. I was thinking about maybe an oak, or, i dont know.

any opinions are much appreciated.

also if anyone in the sarasota/bradenton area is down to ride, im always willing to throw down gas or beer money.
much thanks.

if you're looking for a heavier board id go with wood, the best boards out there right now are new, oak, levelthirtn, sattelyte, devotid, liquid force, i believe omens have a wood core, maybe?

you've got a lot to choose from, I ride for levelthirtn, i got to try the 40" agency skate and it rides really well, pops great, w2w is super good, its got a 3 stage rocker this year and a new fin configuration.

I know Devotid is making some smaller bilevels this year. I ride an omen and soon a devotid as well. Yes, the Omen has a wood core and i think is about 8lbs. The rocker on it is really unique and a lot of people don't like it because they say it drags a lot. I disagree, i love the way it rides entirely. It takes time to get used to.. popping on any 5 stage is definitely different. Wood concaves are great, but i'm pretty stoked to see what Integrity has in store for '08. I think i'm gonna buy one..

Slapdown, i think people dont like the drag cuz they ride too slow, with L13 its the same, you cant doo much when you're riding at 19 MPH, i ride 21+ all the time, the faster yu go the easier the pop too.

i feel like the integ is too light. ive ridden a wood board like the sattylyte sucess it feels heavier and doesnt get taken in the wind as much. ive only riddent the omen once but i felt it rode very slow also. even at normal speed. i ride a bi-level and i like the weight. i feel like it rotates slower under ur feet but never catches the wind. it also generates more pop for me. im still getting used to it tho

You should maybe take a look at New's 08' line. The boards feel good under your feet and are a good weight. Plus they are mad cheap for a brand new board.

Integrity's 08 line up will be a pound to 1.5lbs. or so heavier... Some where around 9-10 lbs.

...A lighter decks (to a certain degree) helps give you the ability to flip and spin quicker with less effort ... there are many more advantages to riding a deck just under 10 Lbs. Then over 10 lbs. (go ahead and argue with me or Nick on this) but for the ones looking for a denser feel and more weight we will have a bamboo core wakeskate, and then a full composite version. We have the perfect center/weight combination figured out this time around...

I will say our Team is nuts, because the center weight and a lighter deck just helps give the talented riders a solid advantage on the flip trick department. I don't see Nick or Ryan having any issues with fly away or anyone else I know... It's all foot position and deck control that prevents that from happening... (I don't see Danny Way losing his 5lbs. skate while cruising over the great wall of China) A lighter deck is a more advanced tool... (comparing an 8lbs. deck to a 13lbs.) Not only that... 9lbs. will respond much quicker and travel higher when you pop then a 12lbs. deck will
