The pic is from Lake Lavon.
PIRATE,
I/O 180's? That's pretty amazing for a first time rider.

Yeah, I think Lavon was around 17 feet down at the height of the the drought in '06, and all the ramps were closed. Then the rains came back and it was about 9 feet above normal early this summer, and most of the ramps were closed. But it's pretty much back to normal now.

OverEasy, AWESOME. I just got my 6.5 year old daughter up on a wakeboard a couple weeks ago. I can fully appreciate the stokeage you're feeling. Congrats to you and her.

OverEasy, man that's awesome! I've been trying to get my 2.5 yr old to ride with me but he just throws a fit whenever he gets in the water. Some day hopefully!

Thanks, everyone; she appreciates your comments (especially che blanc; she's a big fan).
For those of you with kids, you have to be patient with 'em. We've been trying to get ours on the water since we got our first boat in '04. We tried water skis first, then a wakeboard, but the skate was the winner. She just doesn't like having anything strapped to their feet while she's in the water (I think we can all relate to that).
Another huge factor was that she had already learned how to ride a bike, roller skate, skateboard, and indo board. So lots of balance skills there. Our 6 year old son has a lot of catching up to do; he still can't do any of that stuff cuz he'd rather play video games. We're working on that.
