well im on crunch time again due to procrastination. This time im going out to a buddies lake house(none of them can really wakeskate but what-ev) and i would like to get my new wakeskate done. The only problem is that i have 2 days and i dont have the materials or time to make the concave and kicktails.

Would a wakeskate still be rideable without these things?

Bonis69, yeah you might as well buy one though and wait until have time to build a concave skate. A flat skate is a skate with just the rocker. It doesnt have concave or kicktails.

heck yes! That's where wakeskates started out, like either chopped wakeboards or of course, early wood flats. IN fact, I rode a flat deck all the way up until the beginning of this summer (when I put my feet on a bi-level). Anyway, a board is totally rideable like that. Concave is definitely nice to have...but frick, you'll have a blast anyway. good luck!

well, yesterday i went riding on it for the first time. This one was actually very well made, i could cut, ollie(if you can call it that), and all of that fun stuff. I started out the day with some extreme tubing with my friends, then progressed on to wakeboarding (which i finally got someone to get up) and i learned re-entry on my wakeboard. Then i finally got to try out my new wakeskate. I got up my second time and was happy beyond belief because something i made was working quite well. I got about 3 rides in before i got hungry and tired but i learned re-entry shuvs, re-entry indys, and normal shuvs Smash Smash Smash The water was glass too(gotta love private lakes)
