Did it get you up alright?

A kid told me that it wouldn't pull him up so before I get my jon boat I wanna make sure you guys are actually riding them... I've seen pictures and whatnot of 25s pulling people so I assume it'll be straight.

me and a buddy who each weighed like 170ish at the time both could get up behind his little 25... it took atleast a full 50 seconds to plain and get up to speed but it worked. that was with just one dude in boat driving, no spotter.

I wouldn't think. Just tell them thats the reason your buying the boat and you want to see if its going to be able to pull you up.

It's 1,500 with the trailer and all.. Seem like a decent price?

I found a boat and engine separate that would've been 900 but the boat had sold, and there was no trailer..

dpc1192, yeah man what Primeo said. You should never buy anything used (vehicle wise) IMO without test driving it first. If an owner had a problem with someone wanting to test drive, that is a pretty good indication there could be some problems with it.

me and my friends get pulled behind a 16ft reno skiff with a 25 on it all the time and its a way heavier boat than an aluminum jon boat. i only way 135 but it pulls me right up. its like riding on a ski with a better wake and more room, but a quarter of the gas you would burn in a wakeboard boat!
