I just lost out on my whole season...

To anyone who doesn't already know, I was in an accident involving a bus friday night. While riding my skateboard and crossing Main Street at 31st, the stoplight abruptly changed and I attempted to stop. I fell off my board and slid my right leg right underneath the path of the bus. Needless to say, I was run over by the front and rear tires. My fibea and tibea were crushed/broken. I went to KU Med (where I am still) and had five hours of emergency surgery. I will likely remain in the hospital for another week. I also have to get a second surgery on monday, the 26th of March. P.S. This is not a joke. This sucks really bad. I hope everyone is extra careful after reading this, as what happened to me is real bummer. I don't think I'll ever be able to skateboard again Sad

wakeshredder, That's terrible! At least you're still alive, look at it that way. Keep your chin up and don't think about whether or not you're gonna skate again. Just focus on getting better.
