personal preference. i ride with fins on my oak because i suck without them and that board wont turn at all without them. then again i suck so....

I like to ride with one fin. It feels good. I dont know whyits a little loose but not to loose. Really nice for back bigs and front bigs ect.

you know, there is something to be said about riding with or without fins. It is definitely easier to ride without them, if you have perfect water conditions. Another thing to consider is that finless riders tend to land tricks sloppier. That wouldn't fly on a skateboard, you'd eat street if you landed sideways on a skateboard. I like the skateboard aproach. Harder I admit, but the glory is so much greater. Besides, when you do ride finless after rocking em' for a while, you'll blow most sukka's out of the water! i ride w/out fins and trust me i pop my shizzle. riding w/ fins does not help popping at all, ive seen people hit 3 shuvs 2 inches off the water w/ fins...therefore your point is mute, about all they help w/ is w2w and if you can edge fine you shouldnt need them.
