there's a company in wisconsin that makes festivus poles. They vary in height, but they all symbolize the same thing...

it's so funny because for the dude that helped write that episode, festivus was a real thing for his family. his dad made up that holiday, but instead of having an aluminum pole, they had something like a bag and a clock (but he wouldn't say what they represented). The airing of grievances was also real.
