Yeah, I just wanted to make a place for everyone's gear (if they collect it). and it was perfect for a project like this. Hopefully other people will post their stuff to round that whole thing out. but it's cheap and free, so I wanted to create something and display that history (all ten years of it;)
Anyway, what I really wanted to say was: "righteous. until then, keep it steady."
and rail, you are very right...

Thats one hell of a collection. Love all the AstroDeck stuff you have. What is it about AstroDeck that makes me wanna rock out to Faith No More?
*Edit: The 04 Cassettes are so rad, I wish I would have gotten one.

deltarider, I think it's something like 48. I just bought one of those blank wooden flat decks from ebay because they were in fact pressed for cassette (so I had to have it), and then I'm still waiting on my 07 byerly from my wbm prize package.
Jesse, I'm hyped on the astrodeck stuff also. Just to have it in the package is sweet...my favorite piece is probably the sky hooks because they're insane. I'd probably freak out if I ever found a set of the christian fletcher traction, because that would complete the set. And I bought those 04s (cassettes) after the fact, with the reeds coming from labellethrasher and headhuntermx4. It's friends who have helped me get some of my favorite decks, I'm really grateful that they were cool enough to let them go...it will always mean a lot to me (they also have a "no sell" clause, so when I die those guys get their boards back. ) But yeah, that 04 situation has pretty much made me commit to some of those special boards as they come out...i've missed out on one or two, but I like to think I've learned my lesson.
Anyway, that whole gallery will continue to grow with various accessories, catalog pages, and some articles. I gained permission from WBM (courtesy of kevin michael--thanks!!) to reproduce some of the older wakeskating articles for everyone to check out. That way, new people can kind of have a look back at all of that footage, and the kids who want to write papers for school will have access to some reliable information that could actually be used (you know, legitimate citations and such). but that will be an early winter project or something. I'm already falling behind on a few projects, mainly because I suck.
And again, anyone out there who has boards or anything that they want to post should do it because it will make that whole thing more complete and well rounded. I'll continue to solicit photos from other people as well, so hopefully we'll continue to have some interesting stuff in there.
