3 weeks
I need a new skate badly. I ordered a replacement and they didn't say it would take that long.
I got back on the Reed today it felt so lifeless. _________________ dbanana wrote:

| We've been waiting for the newly pressed skates for a long time at my shop. They keep telling us they'll be in next week, but then next week turns into the next week, etc. I need a new bi-lev, snapped the nose clean off mine. |

ive received my second bi-lev from cassette. my first one started delaming 3 days into riding it. cassette was good about agreeing to send me a second one...but it was like pulling teeth to get them to send it. i received it a little more than a week ago. BUT...i have no clue whether or not it is from the second batch or not. i have my doubts. time will tell....ive been riding it for a solid week now and it hasnt begun to delam yet. im not positive but after reading this post and hearing that no-one has received a second batch bi-lev yet im thinking they just sent me a replacement board just so i would stop emailing/calling them every day
i love the board! its a fun ride...but if it delams again i think im gonna have to switch to integ until cassette gets their bugs worked out... _________________ www.kraProductions.com

| I feel bad for cassette because they had so many problems last year and this happens. It really sucks for a company that just wants to push the sport to have so many problems. |

i have no doubt that cassette will bounce back from this...they have a good product and A LOT of rider support. they just need to get the kinks worked out and be straight forward with everything they are working on so they dont give the impression that they are giving everyone the run-around on this second batch. _________________ www.kraProductions.com

Cassette should think about a new quality control specialist. You'd think with last year, and what's happening this year they would get it together, maybe not. Someone in that company needs to focus on re-writing the business plan so that it includes a Quality Control Program and a defined return goods policy, ie A little more than telling the consumer to "Ride this board until you destroy it." Not to sound to harsh but I now feel that my bi-level is the equivalent of a new Rolex with a 10 day warranty.
But thanks for the input on getting them to send you a new deck. Since my deck is showing signs of delam, I'll just start phoning, faxing, emailing, and txt messaging them daily.
Anyone have any word on how LF 2005 wood decks perform. I had a 2004 tech 42 that lasted about a week before delam took the life from her. _________________ "If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? they need to use like a hardcore composite alloy material on top cause there seems like there wud be a ton of pressure on that end _________________ tubers n skiiers n kneeboarders suck

Maybe they aren't perfected yet; but the fact that they have branched off and tried to do something innovative and creative and down right filthy dirty, makes me want to support them their growth and my growth. And yes the pop makes up for the weight.
Cassette started this sport.

Raven, I agree support Thomas he is a great person with great ideas...
But do your homework... Cassette did NOT start the sport, Thomas played a roll in it but it goes much deeper waaaay before Cassette. _________________ arson-wake.com |

Read the interview with thomas and dave a while back on wakeskating.com It tells you who all started wakeskating, it just was'nt horrell, I think it was mostly Scott Jobe.
Wakeskating.com (WS): When did you first start to wakeskate?
Thomas Horrell (TH): Scott Jobe introduced me to FWT pads [ED note:Fresh Water Traction] that he used to put on his old Double Up decks. We were messing around with those in early 1998. Then Scott introduced me to Jason Messer and we actually got to ride with him once in Oregon, before I really started wakeskating. He had a foam top deck that he had made (entirely covered in foam) and it blew me away. |
