Ive heard one of the two(i forget Shocked

) is more geared towards beginners and has the tricks one pic after another. Which one do you prefer?

I don't really like instructionals in any magazine but both have there plusses but I might have to go with alliance always a fun read.

One is funny, run by nerds, fun to read and FREE at most wake stores. The other is for kids who want to be cool.

alliance all the way, i read my alliance the whole month and always laugh when reading it and love to look at the pics, the quote section is da bomb also

alliance has my vote. You know, a wise man once said that when you have to make a choice, most often you choose between a douche and a turd (unnamed philosopher from "south park). but when you choose between wbm and alliance, it's like you're choosing between a douche and turd wrapped into one, vs. the best most glorious thing you could ever imagine...maybe a giant bottle of purple mountain dew and a bag of candy pumpkins--whatever you prefer, that's just my example of glory and desire. Anyway, I think the choice is obvious..unless you like turds and douches...

But in fairness, on occassion, wbm can have some decent stuff, like the cassette/malaysia article, or the issue with boston george on the cover. But my true loyalty lies with the alliance...bill mccaffray is my hero.

aliiance has better substance, but i still think WBM hasthe better pics

Good choice on the mags. The 1995 and 1996 mags hold some of the fondest wakeboarding memories for me. But the trifecta of bill, tom, and tony created some pretty good "shizzle" too (and I typed shizzle, not shat). And launch was "it." Definitely edgy and entertaining and worth re-reading on a cold winter's morn...
