Here we go again...

So I mean seriously what the hell?

AWS use to be a place I could go to get updates about the wakeskate scene and view decent content. This time has passed. Back when whats her name was running it we got content on the reg and now its like they dont even try anymore.
A lot of the videos are just regurgitated from years passed and there is no more original content at all almost. I remember when I use to look at the site every single day now its probably more like once a week or so I go on and im disappointed every single time. I thought that Brooke being gone and DC taking over would be a good thing but sadly its gotten worse. Seems like they need a wakeskate dedicated editor that is maybe in the wakeskate scene.

Just sucks thats all

I go on Blast! every single day along with Wesubsist and La Sewer.

AWS use to be on that list.

I think its just a lack of original content. A lot of videos are just pulled from other sites.

Vince Whiteman needs to get back in the game and move down FL. His content was amazing

i think alliance is going to take a serous beating (in traffic/loyalty/and submitted content) if they don't change it up in a hurry

and maybe dc has limited pull, who knows, who cares, its more about us these days and less about them

thats how we are going to do it (as wakeskating)

and thats why wesubsist, blast, lasewer are going to get more of our attention, because they truly are part of "us"

and why bother with any of them when they all come here to share anyways?

I stopped checking out alliance after they changed to the new website, who needs them we got blast, wesubsist, la sewer, we keep each other updated on whats going on. WS.com = wakeskating in the 21st century; keeping us connected and up to date on the whats what!

one time i submitted a excellent photo to AWS and they said great photo! your rider isn't wearing a vest so we're not posting. now i understand them wanting to put out a positive message about being safe but a week later there's a photo posted of someone skating in a shirt, i guess it looked better than no shirt.

totally biased opinion, but that put a bad taste in my mouth for AWS and that was the only response i've ever gotten from content i submitted.

jcoffey, haha, and its alright to post vids of wakeboarders riding with only tshirts too.

Alliance is in the pooper in the wakeskate department fo sho. I find half the post in the wakeboard vids section involve wakeboarders hating on skaters or they only perceive good riders if they've got the big sponsors. Laughing

There is no AWS. It's just a wakeskate feed of other people's work on a wakeboarding site. But I don't understand why anyone is complaining? If they don't post original content, then don't go to the site. I think everyone misses the old AWS (digital mag days) but complaining about it isn't going to do anything. Support the wakeSKATE sites that are putting out content and stop going to wakeboarding sites.. it's as simple as that. Why do you think I started Wesubsist? Instead of complaining, I did something about it.

I get so anxious waiting for new www.wesubsist.com content. It is always soo good.

I always look forward to blast as well. They always have some fun stuff.

I don't think alliance is going to tank on web hits. No matter what their primary audience is wakeboarders.

I think tad is pretty right on about everything. Check out nick's new article on wesubsist about his trip to the phillippines. I really dig the video in part two. It's those vibes I tell ya! I immediately downloaded that andrew bird song also. Cool
