I think the reason none of the companies last is because no one likes small wood.

Frye, Did you ever go to a game store when you were <17 and try to buy an M rated game but they wouldn't let you? Everyone knows that's when you go to walmart where the employees either don't know or don't care.

I also still want to know why he burned a wakeskate, assuming he already knew it wasn't... GREEN. And despite the boards killing the environment, would still like to buy one from him.

sprocket america, I'm sure you guys are putting a lot of time and thought into what you are doing, but in this game, displaying arrogance and an air of self-importance as a board shaper is shooting yourself in the foot when sat next to those humble artists that have accomplished more in the arena of board design in their 20 years of work than you will ever be able to in your entire life, especially considering that up to this point, you have successfully produced 0.

What you're doing, is adapting subtle changes to monumental steps in design that have already been worked, re-worked, tested & proven. Best advice I can give you: Lose the attitude, make something practical and great.

And the whole "F integrity" business model doesn't work, we already saw that one happen once.

there is a huge difference in producing a product that you like and one that the public also enjoys. then there is the the manufacturing cost, marketing cost, shipping cost, not to mention the price to test and prototype decent products. can anyone name a wakeskate only company that is making a profit besides integrity? while i think they need to incorporate a more "normal" style concave into their line because the current one is a specific riding style; i still think they make the best skate on the market in all aspects.
