Nah, it's called addiction. Tell me a crackhead doesn't truly love his crack, they're like a match made in heaven.

Addicts start out loving their drug of choice, but eventually end up hating it. Just like marriage Smile

You can only lust after something for so long before it becomes something else. Not necessarily love, but you wont look at it the same after a few months that's fasho. I agree that a lot of people confuse lust for love. I've got friends that tell girls they love them after a couple weeks. Fatal mistake.

after some more thought i think i have to say that LOVE is not going to be the same for everyone. i honestly think that there are a few people that are blessed enough to truly get it, understand it, and pass it on. and if your not one of these people , then your just not going to understand.

so it exist, but not for everyone

you just cant simply say there is true love for everyone

because crime/violence/greed/hate can all disguise themselves within "love" in different ways, so who is to say what love is ,in a pure form, and that it exist in that medium for everyone

for sure there are absolutely amazing couples out there, but there are a lot of people out there who have to put in a lot of work to make a relationship work. I think work is the reality more than anything (not in a bad way).

I agree with esnow on this. Being in a good relationship takes lots of work from both sides. I've been married for seven years and have gone to bed pissed at my wife less than a handful of times.

The Kid, If you think that you are falling in love with a girl... Take things as slow as possible. If the relationship lasts, there will be ample amounts of time to learn the ins and outs of each other.

My wife and I made it through several years of a long distance relationship before getting engaged, and I truly believe that this helped develop a bond that will never be broken. We took our time getting to know each other so that there wasn't boredom after six or so months.

She's also cool as hell, and the few people on here that have met her will probably agree that I am one lucky SOB to have found such a great woman in the Dirty Bay.
