|
|
So I'm thinking about trying some kickflips pretty soon and I was wondering what would be an easier way to try it for my first time. I have seen alot of people talk about inside out but for some reason that seems like it would be harder _________________ -come getzome- |

I learned them inside out. I felt like it gave me more time to figure out what was supposed to happen..like i could do it really slow instead of spazzing in the flats trying to flick too quickly. Hope that makes sense/helps, lol. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

although they are harder on the inside out, you can go so much bigger _________________ dbanana wrote:

The only ones i've landed have been i/o off a smallish wake. I found em easier because they gave me more time, but I also ilke i/o tricks in general at the time for some reason. |

its all personal preferance and ability. i learned kickies in the flats, then took them in out and could only do them there for like a year... finally i got them back in the flats and can do them both now, timing is so key, i could NOT understand the timing of it for like 4 years haha.
i learned both variels and fs flips i/o cuz it gives me a lil more hang time to think about the kick and stuff.. but now i got vflips in the flats... i think its all mental, at least for me.
do whatever feel best for you, where you feel comfortable! |

i think it also depends on the wake too. on a big boat it may be harder i/o than on a seadoo i/o |

416, ya of course! if ur on a wakeboat dont even try inside out.... plus the tower will help you get a bit more air in the flats to flip it! |
