Grasso, I have one. I like it. You aren't stuck with the fish eye look of the go pro. Plus you can switch btw 1080p, 720p - 60fps ect...Zoom, just more options. Plus an LCD screen. You aren't going to be able to use the generic helmet cam shot but if you are ok with that then it's money. You just have to remember it is a small hand held camera. Quality follows, don't expect it to be comparable to a professional camera.

looks like a sick alternative to a go-pro brother...id go with this for the price and not being limited to fish eye view

BB, Ligit thanks for the review.. i have also heard that you can get a fish eye for it for around 25 $. its better then go pro for the fact that it has screen, u can use it as a camera / vid camera, zoom, etc most of the things you have already mentioned.

how about pulling footy off of it and editing and what not ? easy to work with?

That is a little more tricky. If you have a PC (which I don't) you can use the software it comes with but with a mac you will just drag and drop it. Then have to convert it for Final Cut to be able to edit it. Not a big deal though. You can use quicktime or any other video converter program.
With lenses you can get a fish eye or macro lens for it and do some pretty cool stuff.
