i would say since you're in the learning stages to use one or the other, but a birch core overlayed with oak might be cool. i was thinking of making one and using fiberglass mat for the outer layer. its going to be trial and error, but definitely fix your rocker line and make it a decent length/width.

ok thx today i set up a paint both kinda cool i got a air compresser and a spray gun but yea ill see what i can do...

if you plan on sending a couple out for folks to try i'd make a 40.5 so those that like smaller and bigger or that size can all get a good feel for it.

h2o626, just out of curiosity, how old are you?

I'm glad to see that you're stoked about doing this, but you might want to take a bit more time to learn about what you're getting into. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I am saying that you should probably at least have some idea of what length and width a wakeskate traditionally is before you start trying to sell them.

Probably would be best to start refining your shape before you start trying to sell anything...
