Mr. Top Hat, I thought the same thing. Its pretty stupid. Using the word doesn't make you racist. Saying it to a black person or about black people in a negative connotation does. Saying "the n word" isn't going to save your soul and saying "nigger" in the right context isn't going to destroy it. I'm sure at least 90% of people on here have said "nigga" before but are afraid to say it on here. White people are weiners like that. Sure racism exists, but all people have it within themselves to see people as people and not as some lesser being... yet some still choose to be racist. It's ignorance from our lame country's past that started it and ignorance that keeps it going. I honestly think this kid is joking. What 16 year old kid wouldn't want South Park to make a short about them? But if he isn't joking he needs to take a serious chill pill and realize that it's just a show, man. They make fun of everyone because they can and that's what makes that show so funny. Race is such a touchy subject when it really shouldn't be, and people need to stop thinking about what happened in the past and focus on the present and future in order to stop this ignorant crap we call racism. I think Matt Stone & Trey Parker understand that.

PS there is a difference between using "Nigga" and "Nigger". The former is used somewhat as a greeting from one person to another, where the latter is our dark-skinned brother's version of white trash.

Well, i just dont see the difference because really I thought people just used nigga because they want to say nigger and make it seem less derogatory and want to say it without offending some one, but can the substitution of a single vowel change the racism or meaning of the word? If you said nigga around an african american would he/she get upset? offended?
