LF, The only issue with buying cars like this, is chances are this thing has been raged out. Every once and while you will find a guy who is into cars, and mods his, but still babies it. But You might want to check the wheel bearings and stuff like that. The small problems like that are what you have to look for in cars like this. you might be able to avoid any serious issues. But I agree with your father, this could turn into a money pit quickly. But hey, it looks clean . But then again, I'm not JDM guy...I'm what some call euro trash... _________________ 10101 |

LF, There is no way we can actually tell you if the car is a good buy without seeing it in person. Have you had experience with 240's and SR's before? I used to have a 91 with an SR and I can tell you I've seen some pretty botched installs.. If I were you I'd post over at www.nicoclub.com and get some better oinions and see if anyone knows the guy.
Classy, Eurotrash eh? What do you drive? I've been a VW guy for awhile but sold my 07 GTI so I can get something to tow a boat and winch. _________________ My life's a constant work in progress and I wouldn't have it any other way! |

build your own!!!! plain and simple... that way you know everything you need to know about it and also how to fix it when something breaks, because things will break.

since the motor is from an S15, And has all stock parts... Yes it will be reliable. Depending on the install job.
That Kouki is pretty dope, I'd buy it bro. I had an S13 with an Sr20 a couple years back. built it myself. Now i have a big single turbo 2jz
but yea... looks good, good price... definatly get it son!
This is me sliding my Sr'd S13 years ago...

i used to have a 67 bug with a watercooled 911 engine. turbo. i am a vw guy forever myself. even though i dont have one anymore, i still have a soft spot for them. my bug would spank mustangs all day long. they would laugh at me at the stop light. until i took off at the light. they would be so sensitive. |

| Looks decent if you like cars like that, but like mentioned above it be better to build it up yourself because things are going to bust, always, and its way better when you can get under the hood and fix/diagnose yourself. If you really like that car then id try to get him to lower the price, in this economy if hes got no other nibbles he'd prob go down a bit. Id have muffinmans bro take a look at her and id suggest making sure you have some spare cash pocketed for when its has some problems. Any car that old will have many various problems. Good luck! |

those wheels have got to go!!! it looks like the person threw these on just to sell with wheels. i can almost promise you those are not the wheels that used to be on there. if you buy this car...ditch these wheels and get some staggered lip wheels asap!! other than that car looks clean. _________________

the adage of build your own is not really applicable to engine mods and stuff. sure do it on your winch, but you really want someone who knows what he is doing on a car. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. 90% of the time i try to fix something or upgrade it on my own i end up having to put it back to normal or get someone who knows what's up fix it correctly. i love trying, i just rarely get the quality i want or a completed job. if you have someone who really knows what he is doing over your shoulder i say go for it on the car or what have you, but you know where im coming from here. i can definitely tell you that if i ever get headers and exhaust i won't be doing it myself. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be.
