i don't have an opinion since i havn't rode an arson. my simplex 40 is my first wood deck. i have ridden other all wood decks like some gators and an old cassette flat. i really love the feel of my simplex compared to my old byerly legacy. the concave is pretty sick too. took me 3 rides to get my foot position right.

I love Arson decks wayyyyy better than Integs. I have ridden almost every Integ out there and never liked one. The first Arson I got on I felt at home right away. The shape, the pop, the spin, the everything!

2010 Arson line will have wood decks FYI everyone!!!!!!

I dont ride for Arson Mitch Smile

The Kid, Lollar, can someone explain about the arson decks?
the guy on facebook said the only skate that would be the nylon base is the limited deck the put out and on other skates are just going to be wood decks

wakemitch, aye.

the integs are alot quicker to respond.

to me an arson feels like a wood deck just made out of composite.

mr eastwood, if you like my integ ill let you ride it all next week to see what you think.i also have a woodworks that i don't think you have ridden that you can try. comparing Arson and integs is like comparing apples to oranges. i thought i liked integs until i got back on another wood board.

EASTWOOD, the woodworks claim to be extremely durable due to the marine ply. i know LF loved his but just couldnt switch from his integ

Mitch is one of the last people on this site that I would say this to.

But I love how you're suggesting that he should go try an Arson like he's got one hidden away in his closet. Laughing

lumpy pants, i ride every board i can get my hands on. i really want to try an arson. i was just wanting a review from someone who wasnt affiliated with the company because the only people ive read talk about it are ott, marcus, nick d, and drew danielo.
i would really like for some one to break it down and describe how it rides rather than BUY IT or its awesome

I have the '06 TNT 41" integ, The '08 Lemons, the 41.5" omen and an arson.

Of them all, I feel that the arson is the most consistant board I've ridden (mind you I only got to ride it 3 times before i busted my knee). But in those 3 times, I was far more consistant and landing tricks I haven't done in aaaages.

It feels faster than any wood deck and that little bit heavier than the 08 Lemons (which I really liked). Pop is absolutely amazing, I couldn't handle the height on some of my ollies, it was just a general all round amazing board.

Also in comparison to the wood boards I have ridden (most of the LF concaves, 39" NEW and their Bi level). I'd say the arson just feels a lot more solid (not saying anything bad against wood, I just prefer composite). Also the nylon base on mine is the fastest base I've tried on rails (and seems to be as strong as the durasurf on the Omen/'06 integ.

But hey this is my opinion, the integ is still an amazing board, I just lean towards Arson, it just suits my riding style
