do many of you work on your arm strength while you arent wakeskating? or do you rely on wakeskating to keep your arms in shape?
have you found working out your arms gives you more riding stamina, etc?
the last time i was able to ride a few months back my arms were shot after the first day....now im gettin ready to go out again soon, ive been using a chinup bar hoping i can get my arms conditioned a little bit in advance |

I had always been a cross country runner throughout high school and I started wakeskating my senior year. After going to college, I lifted/ran five days a week for two years straight and immediately noticed results in muscle mass and stamina. I also definitely saw a huge increase in my arm strength and lack of fatigue while wakeskating due to training my triceps and shoulders. Squatting weekly also boosted my power-up ability and w2w height. Beginning to work out steadily was probably one of the best life choices I've made in terms of general health, confidence and wakeskating improvement. |

I wish it was that easy, but two minutes of superb technique doesnt require much strength |

Getting in the weight room will help with your strength, conditioning, stamina and general health. Add in some stretching and cardio and that'll help to prevent injury and it'll also give your immune system a boost. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

here is a wakeboard work out. thats what they say it is, but it's really just a full body work out. only thing i would add is hip abductor work outs and make sure to do cardio.
