So my eyes getting better. Still got some double vision at the extreme up and down, but thats not the point. Im going to buy a new wakeskate soon and was deciding between an Oak or Integrity and choose to get the Oak Stumpy 39. Just not ready to put $400 into a skate yet. Maybe next year when im more constant with tricks and better. So how do I go about ordering an Oak? Do i email them or buy it from another store? thxs guys. |

Normally the boardstop carries Oak, but I don't know how many oaks are done yet, and I don't know if/when ed will get his shipment. i'd start by contacting grasso on here. He'll be able to give you the answers you need. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I'm not a Integ rider but $400 is nothing compared to how much you will spent on all the other skates you'll break!! Integ last 4ever, I cracked 3 wood decks and 1 bilevel LAST WEEK , and I'm not that good either but trust me its worth the extra cash. plus OAK's 289 Integ 400 thats only $111 more! |

electricsnow, thxs man. was thinking about doing that. and
DirtyBrown, that crossed my mind too. dont want to be skate less for a few weeks while im waiting for a new skate.
looks like its back to brain storming and thinking. I think that integrity would be better in the long run. o well. got 7 more months till summer. plenty of saving and thinking time. |

DirtyBrown, listen to this guy, i've seen him kill boards on some stuff that shouldn't break anything, wood boards are amazing pop and stay with you great but with all the new stuff integ and arson are putting out i'd deff think about investing in one of those |

triggamike, thats what i think and my parents would probably be happier if i spent money on a good board that will last and not a board that i have to keep buying every summer. o well. like i said 7 more months till summer. plenty of time to decide. _________________

Coming into the Oak company i have been getting emails and questions from alot of skaters. One of them being this question. Me and Mikey plan to have our shop orders filled by X mas. So there will be an abundance of new 2010 oaks for X mas ! woo !
So theirs a lot of work going into these boards and i plan on being in NC working with mikey on them a bunch. If anyone has any questions, you can
1)email the warehouse Info@oakwakeskates.com
2) call the # on the web site
3) email me - MikeGrasso@aol.com
4) call me - 754 224 7688
and ill be happy to help with any shred ready questions you got.. _________________ www.OakWakeskates.Com |

Terry, try not to take the advice on this forum too much to heart as it is mostly given by people who don't know enough to be giving it, or favoring Integs. They are good boards and you should consider it but don't let the durability thing scare you.
Oaks are solid boards and will last awhile, depending on how you ride them and take cake of them. I ride a wood board a long with many other people and we all do it for a reason.
My advice to you if you have 7 months, try to see(or ride) as many wakeskates as possible. A composite board will never ride like a wood one and vice versa, so the best way to save/spend money is to know what you want first. |
