USA vs Egypt

Did anyone watch this game; US dominated Egypt 3-0 and then Brazil just beat Italy 3-0 as well so USA is moving on in the Confederation Cup Shocked

Their playing Spain soon i didnt catch the date...Anyone on here futbol/soccer fans

USA/Spain is Wednesday at 2:30pm eastern time on ESPN.
Brazil/South Africa is Thurs at 2:30pm eastern time on ESPN.

Spain is #1 in the world, btw.

And as un-American as this may sound, I hope that we can get the announcers from the Brazil/Italy game to cover the USA/Spain game instead of Delacamera/Harkes. I doubt that'll happen, though.

haha yea it'll be Delacamera/Harkes, but their not all bad; yea I know Spain is number 1 their an amzing team Torres is nasty

scotta, or anyone else what do u think of Dempsey besides he's goal today...is he a starter in ur book, I don't think he should be on the US team, he gave up some rediculous pass "inside the box" none the less idk

i love england as much as the next fan

i feel theyre a good team overall but they do not play well with each other; most of them are very greedy players ex: Rooney(theres nothing wrong with that but when the whole offense of your team plays like that it causes problems VERY QUICKLY) and they also break down to quickly. If a team scores first against england they usually loss and start argueing with each other, they just play good controlled soccer when their down a goal or 2

If i had to choose a team to win this it would definitly be Spain, Portugual, or the dark house USA Twisted Evil

but Spains probably gonna do it Torres is just way to nasty for anybody to handle

RxSkater, Portugal isn't in this tournament either. Are you talking about the world cup? Portugal is going to be very lucky if they even make it in. They are in third place in their group and are behind the second place team by 4 points. To even have a shot at making it to the world cup they must take second place in their group and even then it's not guaranteed.

Spain should win the confed's cup and if they keep it going the world cup next year!!!

In other soccer news, ESPN has acquired the rights to air Spanish La Liga games in the USA next year...ESPN Deportes and ESPN 360 will air 95 games, and ESPN 2 will air 20 games.

man im not much of a soccer fan but i was in france durring the last world cup and i gotta say, SOCCER fiznackling RUles, them french people sure know how to party..
