who's the highest wakeskater?

who in your opinion goes the biggest/highest wake2wake? who would you say is today's wakeskating "vandall"?

it's about shear height, not necessarily steeze for this one. there's a shot somewhere of grubb hitting a double up that comes to mind, and if my memory serves right i'd say that'd be the winner to me.

since a thread without pics is like a scuba steve that likes the cheesecake factory's orange chicken, here are some from alliance to start.

Definitely some good names listed here! Grubb is an obvious contender and thomas boosted off of some double ups back in the day, and he totally killed it on his chopped wake tech in "decline." I remember seeing some pete ward shots on here of him riding an omen prototype and what he was doing scared me.

tstormz in fill in the blanks. this shot is an internet classic--omg!

In addition to a lot of the guys mentioned here, stu is a booster, for sure. Stu killed it at natationals this year and threw one of the more impressive mellon grabs I've ever seen.

Stu's not a gardner, but he can pick a mean mellon anyway.

And at nationals jordan Mears really impressed me. First off, it was just cool to see him wakeskating because he kind of disappeared for awhile (at least from my perspective because i"m not raging in "o-town"). He was just riding one of the LF concaves and he just charged. He didn't land his stuff, but I thought it was cool that he went balls to the wall at an event like that.

And of course grubb was doing his thing as well.

I wish I had better screen shots from the 2006 nationals. That was when aaron reed really put on a show.

grubb has gone biggest the longest and most consistant

thomas has gone huge in the past, with his old skool steeze he can shift like caps lock.

a reed goes big and looks the best while doing it...hence Cool

stubo goes biggest meticulous.....back bigger what! Shocked

but if this is about sheer height......
Drew Danielo literally flies and floats from one wake to another.

with grace he defies gravity and space.
