not sure what their called but would homemade things of these work do u think? i made them in shop class will have pics up in a sec. i ride a 08 sst so id have to make my own holes

tjmac, Ben Horan uses Washers..... I won't give away how he use's them, but he loves them.....

buy some big washers and get a welder and start playin!!!

tjmac, Those are too big, I made some out of Trex deck. They were thinner than yours but a little taller. They had alot of drag and steerd the board funny. You'll find out first pull you take.

wakemitch, yeah, too much drag... he took out the middle bar.

skateonwater, Yeah, I did a little fiming in July with him and he had taken his iron and took the middle bar out, so it was just a washer with a washer cut in half, those two peices welded together then welded to the other washer.... ya dig?

I'll look through my photo's this weekend and see if I can find a pic of it.

TannerC, What up Moose!!! Snowing yet? Our moutains are getting covered!! And we are going to start filling our water box gap up this weekend I hope!! Smash gonna have to come back!

I've seen ping pong balls used, David Hanson uses them in NWCT....

they might not be strong enough. i tried to make some with just molded epoxy resin, but i screwed up with the threads and stuff... idk id fool around with that if i were you or at least do something to strengthen them. but let me tell u, a hardened block of resin is amazingly hard and seems like an ideal material for the bumps

mr.foonis, resin wears away fast. when i made bumps out of ping pong balls i filled them with epoxy resin. after sliding a box for 30 minutes they wore down to the screw.

i've used golf balls but they wear out and leave flatspots.score some sk8 bumps from devotid there only like 15 bucks + shipping
