| I have a sony DCR-HC26 and just got adobe premire and cant upload video. any help would be great on how to upload it |

bmr712, well thats a good thing that your computer/adobe recognizes the camera. i dont know much about premier, as i use final cut express and iMovie.

| bmr712, i have the same camera and use a firewire to upload my footy. i've heard that any USB cables for sony mini DV cameras don't work very well. |

bmr712, that sucks..
i was reading some help forums about this an there are tons. there are a lot of complaints/problems with the firewire connection. but as kornhouse said there are also complaints over the USB.

| bmr712, it depends on what you have on your computer. i used a 5 pin but yours may be a 4. check it to be sure |

bmr712, its a 4 pin. on the back of your computer is probably a 6 pin. if it looks like a regular USB port but rounded on one end its a 6 pin.
5 pins arent that common. _________________

bmr712, go to best buy abd oick up the "geek squad" version of the firewire cord. I got it for five bucks, all the others are like 30 _________________
