basically i want to go do this, but i have a released winch and it is very light with no stake holes. anyone with experience with the swoop frame or winching period please leave some advice. thanks

strap it to a ladder and use the leverage from the ladder to keep it from flipping over. basically strap it to the end of a ladder lying flat on the ground so that the the part of the ladder sticking out is in front of the winch. that will keep it from flipping. you might still need stakes to keep it from sliding around but shouldnt

thats a gnarly idea. i like it. i was going to get two huge i bolts and mount them on either side of the hitch, then use those cork screw dog stakes to thread down there into the ground. i might do both

they might not be long enough. the sand is soft till you get kinda deep. good luck and have fun with it. the sand hurts Confused

yep, we've used my folding ladder with the winch ratchet strapped to it at the beach more then a few times. works great.

You could also use those steel rods. Like the ones they have for horseshoes..

yea a couple 3 ft steaks in the sand at an angle should do the trick. Just have the operator stand on the frame while running it for the initial pull of the rider getting up.

i attached some 2x4s to a plywood sheet and we strapped the winch to the wood and it slid like a b!tch on the sand.
