Easy. My most stoked day still is the first day i rode with Oury. I landed my first shuv, rode a concave skate for the first time, rode a bilevel for the first time, and had a sick doubles set with Oury, watching his first re entry kickflip go down on a whim, after a re entry 3 shuv and some other stuff. this is a tough, but good question. There are definitely a bunch of really good days because it's not uncommon to get random flash backs now and again. But a rough top three (in no particular order) would include a brian grubb demo I attended in 2002. This was just cool because it was the first time I had seen a good wakeskater...or even a wakeskater ride in person. It was just cool to ride with another wakeskater, and have someoone who was really hyped on riding and understood the small things that go along with riding.

Another favorite was the first time I went riding with labellethrsher and skatefilly. They were the first guys I went riding with from this site. It was an uncommonly calm morning on their lake (normally it's a hazard to your health to be out there on a weekend) but we all had some good sets behind brett's wake edition sea doo, and we also watched issue 3 that day. My board was on its last leg (it had a "flex section") so brett let me take my afternoon set on his 4-trac. Once I figured out where to put my feet, it was definitely one of the most fun sets I'd ever had--blasting an ollie made it completely worth while.

Fav. sesh number three was from last fall. The first weekend in october is when we take our boat out up north and it's usually cold enough up there to for sure need one full suit, or possibly a layering. Last fall was a bit different--it was chilly, but still really enjoyable. The early morning also started out really still so I had good water and every now and again the sun would peek out from behind the clouds and really illuminate the fall colors in the leaves. That was more about vibes than anything and I felt really lucky to have that set.

One more--I am also stoked on my first set of the season from the middle of last may, because the ice had only been off of the lake for no more than two weeks before I made my dad drop the boat in. Nobody thought I'd last longer than 15 minutes, but I totally did (and unknowingly slurred my speech along the way). It's just another different experience for me on a wakeskate...that's really all I can say.
