Stitches in my Head

haha, I usually ride with a helmet when im wakeskating but this time I forgot it at home and I was just going for a quick set to try out my new DVS Dresdens... I was wakeboarding yearlyer and it was quite rough out... did a few lipslides, oille bs 180 and went to the wake to do a lip bs 270 out and then some went wrong terribly wrong Shocked

hahaha some rollers came down my way and I bouched off my board while I was sliding the wake... when I came to the surface of the water suddenly, bam in the side of the head my wakeskate hit me Laughing

hurt abit but not really bad didn't think much of it... when the boat came around i was holding my head and i was like the damm thing hit my and the driver started to laugh then her face turned from Laughing

and was like mmmmm evan look at your hand.... and my hand was covered in blood... I got on the swim grid and rapped my shirt around my head.... later I went home and my rents took me to the clinic... the doc put 3 nice stiches in my head...

wear a helmet or just dont be an idoit like me Laughing

man, that blows. i read something yesterday on wakeboarder.com about people getting hit in the head and how they cover their head when they fall, then today when i was falling i kept covering up my head even though the board was 10 feet away. Crazy Eyes

wcwakeskater, I do that when I take a bad fall but this time I guess I was just confussed I feel lol or something Laughing

never used a helmet on anything, except half pipe snowboard, never had a need for it i mean 5 concusions doesnt give a sane person a reson to where a helmet

thats great..............i hope ur glad but im just saying i dont wear helmets i see no point in them ,one of the resons most people do so called extrem sports even thoguh wakeskating isnt that extrem is because theres risk envolved

yeah that same thing happened to me the first time i split my head open wakeskating ,the 2nd time my head fell down onto the board right as i came down doing a w2w ts 180 that one really sucked 11 stiches,I couldn't ride for 2 weeks, and even worse i couldn't wash my hair for 2 weeks

I think maybe he got hit in the head a little too hard.
I don't think you can be "confussed" and "feel lol or something".
Lay low on those pain pills. I'm just kidding though, I'll be sure to be more cautious when skating from now on.
