So after slamming my head on a fall today, i've decided to get a helmet. The Capix has always caught my eye and i was wondering if anyone here uses it. If so, is it worth buying?

Calskater23, I have heard they are not comfy at all. I have a bern and it rocks! |

i've got one it's pretty trashed but i've had it for like 3 years. The ear flap push buttons can get rusted and then they won't come off, so i tore them off
pretty good helmet overall, but i'd look into srs helmets or protec as well if i were you _________________ Reject the basic assumptions of civilization, especially the importance of material possessions |

personally the capix helmets are unsafe. look at getting a protec or a bern helmet, these are great quality. if you're going to protect your head, do it properly. |

I've been wearing a white capix lately......but I would rather have a bern......the capix are a little uncomfortable and not that safe |

I had the Capix for 2 years and besides being a stylish helmet, it's not as comfortable as others (Bern, Protec). I've also been witness to some slight injuries, inclicted by the helmet during a crash. Riders who are wearing the visor to the front had the strap strangling them, due to the force that pulls on the visor when falling face forward. People wearing the visor to the back had the helmet slam onto their noses... not to mention that when it's a little windy, the huge visor will constantly pull the helmet into your neck.
I wouldn't recommend on buying this one. Instead get a Bern with a visor, like the Bern WATTS or BAKER... they're super comfy and don't fall off or hurt you when bailing. _________________ Lars - - - Me German. Me not speach English very ok. |

Capix is like one of tose Bob the Builder helmets they sell at ToysRus. its a toy not a helmet, thin, illfitting, not worth the $30. Get either a bern or a ProTec Two face.
I just got a Twoface about a month ago really sick, nicer than my Bern smowboard helmet! |
