i have a few questions before i go ahead and buy me a winch!
he has two options a 6.5hp and an 8hp. which would do you think i should buy? i weigh around 140, i'll have friends that weigh up to around 170 riding. would 6.5 be enough? i'd love to get that option if possible to save a little cash.
next, i need to find a place to get some good line. it holds up to 2000 but i don't know if i'll ever need that much. any reccomendations on line length and what line to buy?
finally, is there anything else i should know about winching? i've never owned or operated one. any tips or information i should know would help me out ALOT! |

-Supra-, whoa the rope was a lot cheaper than what i thought for that no stretch rope. so that rope will hold up pretty well? i'm not looking for any super expensive stuff. |

skimboarder, Rope is one of those things that you get what you pay for. I was like you at first and wanted to get a cheap rope to get me started but soon realized that I had made a mistake. I would suggest to get bullet lines. They are the only rope out there that are specifically designed for winching. They are expensive but they last unlike other ropes out there.
Would you rather spend the money on a good rope and it lasts or buy cheap rope and a few weeks after it brakes and now your winch is down until you get a new one? Not to mention the money you will save buying a good rope first instead of several cheap and then a good rope. _________________ ~ www.integrity-wake.com ~ www.iwinchglobal.com ~ |
