|
|
Hello,
I am looking for a good wakeskate get. I have skateboarded for 4 years, and wakeboarded for 2 seasons. I'm 5'8 and about 110 pounds. Any suggestions for a board less than about $175? Also what size would be best? Thanks |

Before you get railroaded by all the people that tell you to search the site, since this topic has been discussed a ton, check out ebay. You will be hard pressed to find many new quality boards for under $200. There are some out there, but not always easy to find. Look for 2007 clearance boards as well. grizzly-sports.com and boardstop.com usually have clearance stuff.
And yes you can search this site for previous posts with all the different types of boards to choose from. There are just way too many to list. _________________ "It's like there's not enough pants where there need to be more pants." |

I went with an O'Brien traffic my first season it was a good learning board and I picked it up for $70 shipped but I also outgrew that thing REALLY quick but I didn't wanna spend $200 on a board and then find out I don't like to skate. Check out Newwakeskates.com they have some really good people there and imo you for the price and quality you can't beat em . . . . just my .02 _________________ Go Balls Deep Or Go Home |

I haven't tried any of those boards but I definitely like grip a lot better than foam but if you get a foam board and decide you want grip you can always pull off the foam and grip it _________________ Go Balls Deep Or Go Home |

Foam or Grip is up to you. Whatever you like better, chances are you'll want grip when you realize that you found love. You might as well sell your wakeboard cause you wont be needing that anymore and you can use the $$ for a new deck. I would reccomend an OAK but the Gator or LF you found would be good to you. Also the NEW advice is good. _________________ The promise of heaven out of reach.

i would get an ERA despite what Lollar, says(not serious do not buy an ERA)
for right about that price you could get a NEW I haven't skated one but they look sick, otherwise i would just search around on the site and you will find tons of similar threads with plenty of answers _________________
