It is a good board, it is hard to ride though. It sits super deep in the water and it feels like you are riding slow. If you can pick the speed up a bit it really feels good. I just never felt comfortable going that fast.
Ive been riding mine for two years this august and I think its time for something new. |

iv been wakeboarding for a while and i generaly ride at faster speeds than most people.

can you progress on it? definitely. how fast? not sure.
it's a board that will last you from beginners---->forever.
the boards are rock solid. |

I its a board with great pop. Spins like a maniac, will probably last longer then a couple of other decks. But it will not live forever. (if you shred it) |

I love my omen. When I first started riding it it felt sluggish and sat really low. I took the fins off and bumped the speed up to around 21 or so and made all the difference in the world. Granted I am basically a beginner still, but I just hit a rail with it for the first time a couple weeks ago and it feels great. Pop is really good on it as well. I also wear a size 12 and the tip/tail are wide enough for my feet. On a lot of boards my feet seem to hang over the edges, but the Omen seems to fit perfectly.
You will probably find it difficult to find these boards anywhere. Omen has now become Arson and the only Omen decks I've seen for sale are on this site and they are used. I got mine last summer from a website that only had 3 left. That being said, a used Omen doesn't mean much. These boards take a hell of a beating and so far, all I have are a few scrates on mine from hitting the rail, but none of them have gone through the durasurf. However, from what Sleucrew says, Arson is the wave of the future and puts the Omens to shame. So you may want to hold out for that. _________________ "It's like there's not enough pants where there need to be more pants." |

The Board will last forever. It does ride better a little faster. I rode at 24MPh when I was on it. If you have wakeboarded for ever you will be use to the speed and should feel comfortable. BUt seriously AMAZING. "or wait for ARSON" _________________ OLLIES WAKE SKATE SKIM

| yeah i'm also curious of the advantages and disadvantages of a 5-stage rocker to a 3-stage? all i've heard is it rides alot lower in the water. |
