Thanks guys. The idea I had (besides it would easier to spot) was only to paint the top deck. That makes it appear more like a traditional skateboard and you see the concaves better. I guess it appears better on photos as well...

Rob, did you have to regrip your deck? I also have a Zariel and was thinking of doing something similar. In the ads for the board they showed it with a white sided top deck. As you know, it's all black on the production boards...

i've never been a big fan of skates that are all black on top, its nice to have a bright or visible outline of the board.

I think in the beginning they were thinking of switching up the sidewall color, but I'm not entirely certain what happened with that idea.
but otherwise, rob, that color looks sick!

Thanks all.
No, I didn't have to regrip it. Just painted the sidewalls. Personally I hate when it's all black. I find it hard to spot and catch the board when I don't see the edges. (and in my opinion it looks better this way) I painted some of my old wakeskates red, yellow, green and orange. Turquoise was different and I haven't seen any skate out there in that color...
