alright this may seem like a stupid question but here it goes...

i have a choice between getting a walton07 or a deuce-pop08.

which one should i get?

price is not an issue.

i really like the impulses, how they ride and all, but hate how they break easy(i have snapped a reed and a hampson), and i hear the waltons out of all the impulses were notorious for that especially those made in taiwan.

i also hear that the top decks of the deucepop break easy too, but not sure if thats the same problem with the 08.

i ride cable predominantly

starting to get used to bilevels but still prefer single decks especially on obstacles.

i need to make a decision fairly quick,

oh my god this sucks...

please help

IMHO

I wouldnt go for either of those boards...

But see if you can demo them both and see which one you like better

Are you restricted to buying only these boards for some reason? Because there are alot of great shred sticks out right now...

i would go duece pop, but i havent riden it ,but heard good things about its durability. As an owner of the 07 walton (china made) i would not reccomend that deck to folks concerned about snapping

If the Walton is American I'd do that... If not I'd get the dp and trade it.

ok, heres the situation... i actually dont want to get either to tell yall the truth

i actually ordered a gator reaper41, but it will arrive in april still, so right now i am skateless...

i actually have a comp to join the end of march

the shop i ride for can only offer me these two at the moment, and i have two weeks to get used to the new board before the comp. i am very grateful for the support i get from the shop, they give me two boards every season, so i wana make sure i stretch the life of the board as much as possible. so my biggest fear is that i break these boards getting ready for the comp, and have no board at all to represent the shop.

man, it sucks sounding like im whinning, but i just want to make the best decision to represent the guys who support me and what i love to do.

im sorta leaning towards the deuce pop now... i'll let yall know how things transpire.

peace

delphi, the cable a work at runs at 29 km/h, which is too slow for my deuce pop. Its a great board and all but due to the steep rocker it doesnt release from the water on shuvs and 3 shuvs properly unless you throw them with your front foot right up the front of the board.
