In that post, must = mesh. That's what I can understand. Anyway, back on topic, I might be getting the Buywake Dresdens.

I have the mesh dresdons and they are sick. they grip way better then I ever thought they would, and are super compy. they don't swim that well, but I'm wakeskating not swimming, and they take on alot of rocks when your climbing onto shore and such, it was a hassle cause I was trying acid drops on a small little cliff and they would fill with rocks and dirt. But they are a great shoe thats for sure

seven11dmd, no, they just drag when your swimming to your board and stuff. I also wear old school vans and they feel much better when swimming so thats what I was comparing them to.
The DVS's feel great when riding

seven11dmd, no they dont get heavy at all. well that is compared to my old es mc cranks and dc williams...

russian has the same pair as i, so i would assume he is gonna agree, although he wore canvas shoes so he might be used to a light shoe in the first place...

RUSSIAN, where did the rocks get into your shoes?

just in case anyone cares, i have two minor problems with mine (black/red mesh) so far: the material on the inside of the back of the heel has come unglued from the sole of the shoe so now its loose and it is sort of a pain when i take the shoes off wet cuz i have to tuck the material back down afterwards. the second thing is that the stitching is coming out of the logo on the top of the tongue. this one is kinda stupid, but its not like ive been abusing the shoes, so there is no real reason why this should be happening as they are only a month or two old...

quick...someone...what is dvs' warranty like? is there any chance i can get them swapped out with a new pair w/o being out of a bunch of $$/time???

yeah it's way fun. I like to find stuff that I can't do on an average run. I usually ride the delta and there isn't much like that. I'm going back to that spot this weekend and hope to have pics, I'm also going to find some other spots to drop

scott a, I got rocks in the shoes up at the lake. I had to climb a muddy, rocky bank to get to the drop. I tried it 3 times and each time i would have shoes full of rocks.
railroad is kinda far, but I will have to make the trip to check it out. once the levee is fixed, I don't think I wanna go the long way Laughing

che blanc... i think we are using the same shoes. what color are yours? i have the blue and brown ones. earlier i was using some black and pink ones my friend gave me.. they are really super heavy when wet, then they take like twenty years to dry so i always like tie them to the bimni top. and they still take a few days.
