tstep, jsimpson7, ive been wantin to build my own for some time now, is it possible to make your own spool and where did you find your engine?

we bought a cheap engine off of e-bay. i would NOT do that. I would recommend buying a name brand like Honda or Briggs & Stratton or some others that are posted on here. We have had some trouble with it. the spool came from Northern Tool. It is called "Industrial Hose Reel". We are going to make the inner diameter of the spool bigger though. i think the inner diameter is like 6 inches now. we are goin to make it 8 -10 in chies in the middle. now sure which yet. shoot me a message if you need any help.
