I started this thread to see what kinda injuries everybody is dealing with.

When posting tell age, weight, what you were riding, what you were attempting, and what you were riding behind.

I have had two of my A TEAM go down with broken legs right above the ankle on their lead foot tryin wake to wakes in the last two months. We ride a 39 nick taylor.

If everyone posts their experiences maybe we can learn a little bit.

broken tibia/ torn ligaments in ankle... I/O Kickflip
broken knee cap .... Rail Jam
7 stitches in head.... rough water

leason learnt on all 3 injuries... dont over do yourself, if your exhausted from riding for a long time, take a break...

im 15 and i got a sattelyte engen to the FACE! always block ur face! i did this befor and had to get liquid stitches on my nose.

but i was wakeskating was going for a 3 shuv and little did i know aparently the boat was in a channel of about 12 feet while i was wakeskating in 3 feet came off the board and went face first into (luckily) sand

Had to pull my buddy out of the water because he broke his femur on Augest first, going w2w. When I lifted him out of the water it looked like he had a second knee on his left leg. He just got off crutches 3 days ago.
Still gonna be a while until hes back on any board.

might sound kinda gay and off topic but me and my friend were tubing and got brutalized by a roller from our air natique team edition i kicked him in the head and knocked him out cold and had to pull him back to the boat and he didnt wake up for like 5 minutes lol

I also had to pull a buddy out of the water...he was wakeboarding and broke his fibula and tibia, they had to hollow out his bone to run a metal rod from his knee to his ankle, ouch. the hardest part about the whole thing was he weighedabout 3x more than i did. After extensive rehabilitation he took up wakeskating and is now back out on the lake.

im 19, i weigh 165. early in the summer i was goin for just a regular i/o ollie. wind caught the board. bottom foot missed board completely. tore my MCL and partially tore ACL. no surgery or anything, just 2 months on crutches and in a knee immobiliser cast. i was riding the 07 hampson impulse.

a couple years back when i was strapping i smacked the water so hard i broke my front teeth (im not sure if it was water or if it was like my knee but it hurt)

skipping rock, yep... my knee cap is still in two pieces but slowly healing... the leg/ankle is a freshie and I've moved back to Canada to heal up.... a good month from now, I'll be back on the water in Orlando...

i was going for a w2w ollie and i slipped off right after the landing and got grip burn on the backs of my legs.....

sunday on the amite river a guy drowned wakeboarding, I turned the corner of the bend on the river to see him hit the water, by the time I'd gotten next to their boat the people were screaming for us to stop saying that he hasn't surfaced. He never did, his body was found the next day, they said the reason he died was because he took a rat trap fall (board made him faceplant in the water) and got knocked out, took a deep breath of all water and died on the spot, he wasn't wearing a cerft. vest, shizzle fizzle with you man I've had a hard time eating since it happened, coulda been anyone. The worst part about the entire thing was that me and my friends searched the water for an hour and never found a trace of him, only the board...

Broken thumb from either my board hitting it or jamming it into the ground while hitting a rail over a land gap, and pulled/sprained something in my back (right) leg from landing in a split on the ground in shallow water while hitting a kicker behind a Mule.

i forget the boards ane whatnot but the list is :

chipped tooth from getting hit in the jaw
torn bicep
almost ruptured all lower internal organs on mangrove
massive infection in my right leg
various scars across legs and arms from griptape
