It has been brought to my attention that something needs to be said regarding a thread titled: "I think I'm going to buy this wakeskate..." or something like that. Anyway, I, along with a couple of other members had a discussion about semantics and why certain words were exchanged, etc. One specific member in question pleaded his case on the MB and, after taking up the matter privately, was exonerated on charges of badmouthing and smart-assery. No ill wills or bad intentions were behind those words, but rather, inside jokes and references from past discussions. It is no longer necessary to question the words on behalf of (vaguely) said member...
It is also important to note that people who support one company are not interested in smashing the down the others. This industry is small and we all realize that it's counter-productive to put one person down in order to make the other look better. So, after questions were asked and misunderstandings were understood, there IS peace in metropolis...
If anyone has any issues, feel free to take them up with me via PM. Names were not named and companies were not mentioned because as someone once said, "it's not an us vs. them situation." later

Sometimes it seems that way, but overall, a lot more good comes from these forums than bad, I can promise that. Anytime you get so many people together in one place, there will be issues to work out. It is all part of it. Just do your part and follow the rules and life at Wakeskating.com will be great. |
