Which one is the BEST EVER?? I already have volume 5 but I'm looking to purchase another.

haha, id go with narla, never seen either, but i <3 sfumato, and its supposed to be kinda sequal. soooooo

i just got esoteric yesterday. its a really good video but i like volume 5 better. nothing mind blowing, but its still a really good video and a must have. to me its like the modern flatline. the extras are super funny.
i cant wait for narla

they are not comparable.
lets state some facts
1. i have yet to see narla
2. narla is a team movie
3. esoteric is a bunch of sick kids playin on water
4. there will be tricks in both that arent in the other
5. they are both probably gonna be up for best video

buy both
i have esoteric and its always in my dvd player now.
plus i know everyone in it so it makes it cooler

wakemitch esoteric and flatline are not comparable at least to me in any way. When I watch esoteric I feel like I am watching pro videographers.

I would agree in that esoteric really isn't anything like flatline, outside of the fact that it's some younger people that are making it. For me, esoteric is better in every way. i can appreciate what they tried to do with flatline, and it's funny to look back at who was in that video and what they're doing now...but I really can't watch it.

I'm amazed that esoteric had the music it did...yeah yeah yeah's, arcade fire, and matt pond, to say the least. But yeah, the riding is good, the vibe is fresh...I like these guys!!!

Issue 5 has a cleaner look to it...they scrapped those motion graphics (which I'm thankful for) and it's like they stepped it up with their camera gear. Matt manzari is ridiculous, and over all, the video has some great music. However, I'm really curious as to why clint and gabe paulson have footage that as filmed off of a TV...like some of clint's was from Esoteric and some of gabe's was from either issue 3 or in its travels...I can't really remember because I haven't watched either recently.

Narla is a must have for me, no question.

So there's your answer...save your duckets and buy them all. They will all have a unique feeling, that I'm sure of.

Anyway, stay tuned for some reviews.

the boardstop/boardflix either does or will have all of them. I said this on another thread, but they sold out of their first shipment of esoteric...I'm not sure on its current status.

electricsnow, comparing esoteric to flatline was probably not the best thing. but the fact that they both have young riders who are just coming out reminded me of it. but the quality of footage, riding, riders, editing, and music are way better in esoteric.
