heroldmike, the typical veneer, or ply is about 1/16 inch. its hard to find tho. the 3 stage rocker is like 3 different flat(ish) spots on the base, you can usually fell the transition between each stage on those types of roockers, it doesnt matter what the height of the rocker is. the traditional height of wakeskate rockers is about 2-2.5" andd ive heard a lot that continous rockers iwill pop better than 3 stages, in the flats, 3 stages are much better w2w imo. |

some further questions... hah thanks guys
1. how do u make it so water doesnt get in the holes for the screws? or do u appoxy the holes after there drilled...
2.what and is there a standard width that the holes need to be drilled apart from eachother (for a common pair of fins i can buy.)
3.how far from the nose and tail should they start |

don't use fins.
If you want them just experiment. I built 12 and a half boards last year. the half one broke on the first ollie. Have fun, its definitely cool riding them after you built one. In fact im going to ride one tonight for a change. |
