I think either is a good choice, they both pretty much the same length but the Team Machine is wider and has a different concave. Also its slightly A-symetrical.

The Team Machine is different, it is asym as compared to the other concaves which are symmetrical, it has a slightly wider nose than tail, and it is also directional, meaning the rocker is different in the nose and the tail to take advantage of maximum rocker for the differing surface areas. It is also wider than the other concaves and has a more aggresive concave and rounded rails (as opposed to squarer rails). And it has FRENCH FRIES on the bottom!!! What more could you want??

I can't compare but just to add: I rode the oak lifetrap for all of about two minutes and it felt like an undescribably solid board. I've been considering getting a woodboard just to add to my quiver and this would definitely be the one. I rode Travis Doran's and he hits rails all the time and it was barely touched. It's good and heavy too. It was looser than my TNT so I would need to take alot longer to get used to it, but it is such a nice board. That includes lookswise too Very Happy .
