The Engen is really nice... the whole Sattelyte product line looked great when I saw it.

I'd say as far as standard wood concaves go they pretty much have it on lock.

methodmikey, i have owned both lol the mcguckin i didnt really care for. the concave wasnt deep enough for me and it delamed the first set so i got my cash back, and the omen was amazing i rode that for about 4 or five months, and i really liked it but i needed some cash so i sold it a week ago.

-LoGiK-, are you talking about the L13 06 superstar? if so is it a-symetrical? im pretty sure im gunna get one of those today. they're only like 168 in USD, and i love the color, and that five stage rocker will be really amazing. and all the time they put in to making the decks Smile

The sattelyte boards are bullet proof........... We dont make our own crap in our garage........ Only the best stuff goes into our products..........

Honestly think about it this way.......... The owner of another board company just told you that "Sattelyte has wooden concaves on LOCK.".............. Come on guys ............

anyway SleuCrew, thanks for the kind words I know Garry and Emily appt.... it.

PIRATE, I'm just honest about it... Straight up wood decks isn't my business so if someone wants one I try to give them an educated opinion based on the fact I know how a board should be built and I know quality when I see it.

I know that if your looking at the 06 L13s they have a very strange concave which is more like a little sidewall then concave. They also have VERY steep 5 stage rocker which makes the board drag a little but they are super solid and tough for woods. I know the 07 Sattelyte Prototype's concave looked sick and I know they're really tough.

If you want 5 stage go L13 or Devotid and if you want 3 stage go Sattelyte or Oak. IMO
