Rumor is that Tito will wear goggles this time!!!

Full card is as follows:

Main
Tito Ortiz vs. Chuck Liddell
Keith Jardine vs. Forrest Griffin
Andre Arlovski vs. Marcio Cruz
Jason MacDonald vs. Chris Leben
Eric Schafer vs. Michael Bisping

Under:
Tony DeSouza vs. Thiago Alves
Carmelo Marrero vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Yushin Okami vs. Rory Singer
Anthony Perosh vs. Christian Wellisch

IMO, the main card is as good as it gets with some very very interesting matchups. Can't wait to see this event!!

My picks:
Chuck (third round KO)
Forrest (decision)
Andre (first round)
Chris (don't know Jason...)
Michael (third round KO)

When does this take place?

edrex, this Saturday the 30th. Jason MacDonald is a submission whiz. If he gets Leben to the ground for an extended amount of time, he may pull of a sub. I, however, would agree with all your picks, except I have a feeling Jardine is gonna win. Laughing

Good idea. I got all my picks right from the UFC event a couple weeks ago, so there is no way I'll get them all this time.....just picking the winners though:

Ortiz
Jardine
Arlovski
Leben
Bisping

DeSouza
Gonzaga
Okami
Wellisch

We'll have a few more people here before Saturday Cool Cool Cool

PIRATE, maybe, but Chuck is to be featured on UFC All access this week. All the champs who have been featured on that show VERY SOON after lost their belts. Plus I read somewhere a psychic predicted Tito will win. So I wanna be the one person who goes WAY out on the limb and picks Tito. Crazy Eyes Laughing

Matt Hughes still has his belt, doesn't he?

PIRATE, thank you. I'm really trying. Plus, I would like to see someone else wear that belt for a bit!! If Tito didn't have such a large noggin (target) I might be more confident than psychics and curses.

edrex, are you joking? Hughes was man-raped by GSP last month. The belt is gone.

Damn. I missed that, I've been too busy lately to keep up on the fights, but I was hoping Hughes would hold on to it for a while. I don't care for GSP anyway, so hopefully someone will take it from him soon (like his next fight).

Not likely his next fight...he is taking on the winner of TUF4...Matt Serra. No disrespect to Serra, but GSP just seems WAY too good right now. I'm sure Hughes will fight GSP for the 3rd time sometime in 07....we'll have to wait and see. Plus there's always BJ Penn and Diego to give it a try...

I like Matt Serra, it'd be awesome if he got a few lucky shots in and took down GSP. Just have to wait and see.

Everyone is treating it as though Serra doesn't even exist. They're all looking easily past that fight (Serra vs. GSP) to GSP's next bout....maybe Diego, rubber match against Hughes, rematch with Penn, Koscheck, Fitch. Serra is getting ZERO respect for this fight and it is beginning to worry me. He may just come in with a huge chip on his shoulder and pull a W out of his ass. Smash

That would be awesome. I like the idea that TUF4 winners get to go on to a belt match. Talk about getting a second chance!
This one is going to be PPV, right? I'll just have to DL it the next day to watch.
Cheers NSB, see you back here after the fight.Very Happy

Calling it right there was weak though CHuck was NOT landing more then 2 out of 5 of those, ...... Still probably one of the best line up of Fights ive seen in a while.......

Forrest shouldn't have cried............whatever, He'll be back to kick ass...

i was disappointed with forrest... ughh

i thought the ortiz lidell fight was awesome though, everyone in the bar was screaming the whole time. Kind of a sketchy call, but tito really wasnt "intelligently defending himself" so it made sense i guess

GSP eats poutine daily, he's from quebec. Nobody can take down 200 lbs of poutine

Looks like I got 6 out of 9 Laughing

Bisping looked awesome. Can't wait to see much more of him. MacDonald impressed the hell out of me against Leben. Even though I picked Jardine, I didn't think it would end with a 1st round tko...I was thinking decision. Even Tito couldn't put him away on the ground.

Great night. Bring on Rampage and CroCop!!!!!!!!
