I am looking for advice of what two stick 3 1/4 oak ply wood together with? I have purchased marine goo, same as shoe goo but for marine applications. Will this work? The only other marine glue is a powder that you mix with water.

If that will not work what about the wood glue exterior?

For my two homemade skates I used marine glue...I forget what it was called, but it was 100% waterproof. I think what you're talking about is Marine Goop...like the stuff that you use to fix tubes or floaties. What you want to look for is something that is 100% waterproof and that will work on wood surfaces.

By the way, do you live in Manitoba? I'm in Winnipeg and my parents have a cabin out in the Whiteshell where I spend my summers...I'm not familiar with Ochre River though.

I'm guessing your making a flat wakeskate? Do you have a jig or something to press the skate once you have glued all the plys together?

I used West system's 2 part marine grade epoxy. Works great but a little expensive.

Yeah the glue I used was $15 a bottle...and I I needed pretty much the whole bottle for gluing two plys together.

I made a template to clamp the plywood too. Hopefully the rocker stays.

Thanks for the advice.
