I need a composite skate...

I need a skate for 07...and I like the feel of wood skates but they have a tendancy to die, so I'm wondering what a good choice for a composite skate would be. I'm kinda strapped for cash, so I was lookin at the gator impala....but Omens look so good..and sound good...and integritys are integritys....
Opinions?

the distortion decks will own this year.
good rocker, sick pre-kicks and concave, durasurf base with wood core.
heavier than integ, but lighter then the oaks.
can't wait to get mine.

I took pictures of their boards at the expo (it was actually one shape with about three different graphic options). but due to the fact that i'm an a-hole, I haven't posted anything. but believe in me and I'll believe in you...

the integrities are more expensive than other boards, but you only buy one of them and that WILL last you the rest of your wakeskating career, whereas if you buy anything else, it will be cheaper but you'll most likely have to buy another one in two or so years.

in the long run, shelling out an extra 100 now will save you more than that in the future.

bert., Integrity's do get damaged. All boards do, it's a part of wakeskating, granted some like Integrity and Omen do last a great deal longer and will save you money, but don't make any promises about lasting forever.

Slapdown, if you never hit any rails and don't do anything retarded, there's really no reason an integrity wouldn't last you "forever". like lake weir ocala FL said, they never lose their pop nor do they get waterlogged.

barring extreme circumstances, an integrity will probably last longer than you do in the sport of wakeskating, but yes i agree i was wrong to say that they will definitively last forever.

bert., No worries, i was just pointing out that it obviously won't last forever. But also, it really depends on the person. I think i would have a little bit of trouble finding someone who will wakeskate without eventually hitting rails and doing stupid shizzle. I know integrity's won't get waterlogged or lose pop, i never said "go out and buy a wood deck." Integrity's are great decks and i personally like them a lot.

To tell the truth, i lost myself in that, and i don't even remember what my point was.
