Thanks to all the wakeskaters that came out to BTB. I know the water was not good at all, because I rode wakeskate, but it was still fun. The festival went down and everything was fun. We hope everyone will come back next year and we will try to make the wakeskating event better. We hope that we can do a winch pulled rail jam somewhere downtown soon.

Pics, vid? it sounds like a good time. It sucks that all these events take place in the summer. I'm a working dog in the summer. Maybe some events in the off-season in the southern states would be nice. _________________ dbanana wrote:

yeah it was a good time.
The water was good between sets so i assume the problem with the water was the wakes from x-star just bounced off the concrete walls. at owc they have these tires that are chained together to make the wake die down they seem to work good.
i actually was talking about how easy it would be to have a pool gap at that location. you could even have the pool gap close to the water it could act as three pools. just give me a message if anything is confusing. |

The tire idea is a great idea, we havent thought of that. Also, the wind was blowing up river, and that made it worse. We will ask other event organizers about ways to make it less choppy. The hard edge is an issue, but i think we can fix it. i'm glad it was a fun time, because we will do it again, as well as doing other things in the off season. I will keep u all posted on an off season rail jam. i'm working on that now. |
