I had one where the holes for the trucks were too far forward, the nose was too short and the tail was too long. It sucked. Not saying that they're all like that, I'd suggest buying local, support your scene and you can look for imperfections like that one.

i had the atl model. it was great for the 45 minuetes i skated it until it snapped

I finally got the deck two days ago. I like it so far.......i just hope it lasts, im tired of breaking boards and having to buy new ones

Bakers are pretty good, I like their concave. Another aspiring company that makes good decks is Sugar Sports. The nose and tail are perfect, nice flex, and it has sort of a "three-stage" concave, you can definatley notice where the concave starts. My favs are Habitat/Organika boards. If you have a loose, flowing style then those are perfect for you.

Slapdown, I beg to difer, I have a Bastien board right now and it's really awesome, I flips easier (no pun intended) and has a really good flex and concave, I learned a lot on it.
