next blast?

as most of you know i put on an am only wakeskate comp. last march. well its time to start planning for next season. i was wondering how many of you are unsponsored riders that would be in this area to ride in an am only comp. most of the guys that rode in my last one all got picked up by companys and arent eligible any more. so do i do another am or go straight to a pro? if i do an amatuer comp again i want to work it out were the main prize is a sponsorship deal with a wakeskate company. let me know what you guys think.

im unsponsored and would love to ride in that it would be awesome, i agree with 519 i think you should do an am and a pro contestant that would be sick....

tampa jimmie, I THINK you should do 1 comp for everyone. Make it like the toe jam but more chill and relxed. A contest where kids will come there just to ride even if they dont think they will do that good. A contest where everyone feels like there apart of something is always the way to go. IMO

Also I think there are alot of reason why there shouldn't be a "pro" "am" comp. i think the simple fact htat its a wakekskate comp will draw tons of people. And I know that if I were a 13-14 yr old kid that went to your last contest or saw your personality on here. I would totally feel comfortable coming to one of your events and riding.

I totally respevt what you do and wish you the best.

Well whatever you end up doing i know i would definately do an am comp and i have about 2 or 3 other unsponsered friends that I know would be up for it.

i dont see why u cant do two divisions, i know we've talked about it alot but it would be great to have a straight am/nonadvandced and a pro/advanced division.

im telling ya, u need to do it some where that u can camp out and do it for a weekend and do am on sat and pro on sunday and have a rail jam sat night!!!!

Jimmie I am very intrested, I am am and unspored.. Let me know the dates at whats its gonna be behind (Boat or PWC).. This sounds like a really good idea, specially the main prize... I will go for sure..

tampa jimmie, I think a Jam session all invites anbd somne wildcard spots, but this time build the pool like we orginally talked about and accept no compromises or let them feel the wrath of Ybor Jimmie hahahahah

headhuntermx4, 30 and below in michigan, compared to 50-60's in florida.

there was talk of doing to rails, one on each side, i dunno if that wat they were talking about but that was wat jimmie said ihe originaly wanted to do

Basically everything was meant to be bigger, but because of money and time constraints the top and bottom pools were not as wide as planned. The bottom pool was supposed to be twice as deep, and there was supposed to be rails on both sides.

Jimmie I know some people down here with some land...... I was thinking if we can use one of these venues out in the middle of nowhere and just build a gnar rail like the oakley launch pool for as long as it takes before the contest throw a rager and I mean rager it will be on there property so permits will be cake. I dont know just thinking you could make an all out fest. Have live bands, kegs, anything you want. Maybe even get to ride the pool a couple days longer before you have to rip it down. Just a suggestion. Have a am and pro contest.
