I built one this summer and there are a lot of variables. First you have to determine the grade on the land you put it. If it is on a sloping hill or there is a rise in the middle, you'll have to compensate for it by making the whole thing deeper. It's best on flat ground. I'd give yourself at least 1' depth, 4' wide, and 25-30' length if you really want to get funky on it. I'd keep water flowing into it continuously while riding it b/c water is going to spill out. Make a slide in ledge at the beginning for a smooth transition. Clear all debris before you lay your plastic and double line that joker because she will tear. I bought some wooden steaks and made a box with scrap wood.

The one I built was just a take off pool and we rode out into the bay and pulled with a ski. Have fun and show us some pics and a video when you get her right. Birthday

all your need is a bunch of wood, some plastic, a few inspired stoners, and most important of all, one nail-gun-equipped-obsessively-industrious-long-haired-sleeveless-flannel-shirt-wearing-REDNECK!!! Very Happy Wink

A 2" or 3" pump to continually fill your homemade contraption from going dry with all the slash out..is helpful. Your garden hose or folks with buckets will not suffice. Just have lots of fun with it. Mr T
